We are currently undergoing the process of filing for a patent of our Belly Jelly product (both the compound as well as the concept) by the USPTOS (United States Patent and Trademark Office).
We have undergone several tests, including RIPT Sensitivity Testing, in order to ensure Belly Jelly is of the highest level in terms of ingredients, skin compatibility and efficacy.
Human RIPT (Repeat Insult Patch Test) is a sensitization test used by personal care brands to assess the likelihood of allergic reactions, irritation and sensitization. The test is administered on 100+ women of all ages and ethnicities to ensure the validity and efficacy. From these tests, Belly Jelly showed no skin irritations or sensitivities, making the product hypoallergenic.
Many Doctors may not be accustomed to you bringing your own ultrasound gel, however, with further explanation as to why you are choosing this for you and your baby, they will certainly allow you to use this product.

Dr. Jacobs, a Swiss chemist that perfected the long-standing Castilian tradition of making Jabon de Castilla, or castile soap, before the turn of the 19th century. Today, they still use the same recipe and work to uphold the long-standing tradition of making natural castile soap products.
Dr. Jacobs Naturals products have a 3 year shelf life from manufacturing date and we recommend to use within 1 year after initial use. It is preferred not to leave Dr. Jacobs Naturals on the shelf too long because they will begin to lose its strength. If you would like to know when our product were manufactured, you can look up the “lot code,” under the packaging. The first number is the year (ex:, “3” is 2013, “4” is 2014, etc.), and the next three numbers are the Julian Date (ex:, the day of the year out of 365 total days). Whenever you want to know when the package was manufactured and it says 2165, it means it was manufactured in 2012 on the 165th day of the year. You can see a Julian Date calendar link here.
